It's best to introduce your baby to cake before the session so your baby has already explored the texture and you'll be aware of possible allergies.
Please don't give vaccination a few days before the session, and make that the baby takes a nap and eats before the photoshoot.
The color of the outfits depends on the setup. I am happy to provide suggestions and examples to aid in your selection process.
White and beige tones are versatile and can match various decorations.
Additionally, I offer a selection to attire for infants who are 12 month old to pick from.
Some parents like to do these sessions very close to the baby’s first birthday. If you want photos for a party, though, you will need to schedule the session in advance to allow time to receive your gallery.
It is better to choose the time for a session after the first nap so the baby will be in a good mood.
Cake smash sessions occur in my home studio in Howell, NJ. This allows for me to control lighting with studio lights, have everything prepped in advance, and isn’t weather dependent.
I add real milk to the milk bath. However, if you have an allergy or lactose intolerance, I am happy to substitute it with any plant-based milk of your preference.
Also, you can always opt for milk-free alternatives by including bath foam to create stunning shots
A portrait traditionally captures the essence of a person's face, while photos with parents often showcase more comprehensive images, encompassing the entirety of individuals in full-length shots.
